Congressman Cline Recognizes Bears For State Title Win

On April 30, 2024, Congressman Ben Cline from Virginia's 6th congressional district made a special recognition to the Blue Ridge Christian School for their impressive achievement in winning the 2023-24 Virginia Association of Christian Athletics (VACA) state title.

During a session on the House floor, Congressman Cline took a moment to congratulate the Bears for their state championship victory. He highlighted the significance of their accomplishment, regardless of the school's size, stating, "The state championship is an important accomplishment. Whether you’re a big school or a little school, you’re going to get recognition from me on the House floor and have me tell my colleagues and the world about the great accomplishments of this team."

In a show of support and appreciation, Congressman Cline also visited BRCS for a special meet-and-greet with the team. During this visit, he presented the team with a plaque to honor their success. In return, the team expressed their gratitude by gifting Congressman Cline his very own Bears t-shirt.
